Welcome to JudoDogs

My name is Tawni McBee. I am a certified PDTI thru IACP and have been training dogs professionally for seven years. For many years prior I have trained both horses and dogs. My previous training experience has been informal but I have been long sought out for training advice for both dogs and horses. It is this background, together with a constant desire to find new methods and tools to communicate with, train and understand our canine companions that I bring with me to all of my training sessions.

This is a photo of our "Fur-Kid" family.

Shiloh is our Alpha and my main guy. He performs in obedience, agility. protection and does some service work.

Jaspar is second-in-command and very much bonded to my husband. He performs in obedience, agility and is a regular visiting Therapy Dog at a local Hospital and at a local Nursing home.

Chaussette is my work-in-progress. She is 35 pounds worth of "lap dog" that I commonly refer to her as my "Cattle Dog in a Poodle suit"

Dudley is our resident clown and play machine. Mostly, he is noted for his infamous "rabbit runs" throughout the house.

This is Shiloh and I at Protection Class. Shiloh is in disguise as a "Fluff Dog". What most people don't understand is that Standard Poodles have been shown to be one of the most versatile dogs in the canine world. They can do just about any job that they are shown to do.

Sending Shiloh out to attack the "Bad Guy".

Shiloh on the hit.

Shiloh & Agitator after the session.

A large part of Shiloh's protection training is to make sure that he understands that it is not any individual that he needs to provide protection against. It is only in aggressive or potential threatening situations where his protection skills are needed.
